Humanity first..Being human

The whole world is divided into several religions based on different types of traditions, cultures and regions. One common thing among all is that we all are humans who are divided by religions but united by humanity. Humanity is the basic trait of being a human. It simply means that you consider a person human first, everything else is
secondary, be it his cast, religion, country or language. Before becoming the disciple of any religion, we should first become a good human.

In today’s world, we have failed to inculcate the virtue of humanity in our children. Humanity is what we need to teach our children for a better world tomorrow. The children will learn what they will see. And today’s scenario does not imply a good future. Martin Luther King Junior once said, “ Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that”. It is totally applicable in today’s context. Now, when countries are on the verge of attacking each other, we need to teach our children the core human values, which are love and compassion.

We have become so busy in our personal lives that if we see something inhumane happening to someone, we do not bother. We just pass by, if any such news is coming on the television, we change the channel. But this is not the solution. It does not affect us because it is not happening to us or to our loved ones. Yes, we will cry our heart out if any such thing happens to someone close to us. That will be a wake up call for many such people who do not pay attention. Before that happens, we must decide to impart the basic values in the new generation as they will become the world leaders tomorrow and will be responsible for maintaining peace among states, countries and
continents which is very much necessary to save the human race.

we all are children’s of god

Decorated Dargah gate during Eid milad

The dargah of Moinuddin Chishti ( Gharib Nawaz -Benefactor of the Poor), known as Ajmer Sharief Dargah or Ajmer Sharief, is an international waqf, an Islamic mortmain managed by the Dargah Khwaja Saheb Act, 1955 of the government of India. Ajmer Sharif Dargah is 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) away from the main central Ajmer Railway station and situated at the foot of the Taragarh hill, and consists of several white marble buildings arranged around two courtyards, including a massive gate donated by the Nizam of Hyderabad and the Akbari Mosque, built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. It contains the domed tomb of the saint. Akbar and his queen used to come here by foot on pilgrimage from Agra every year in observance of a vow when he prayed for a son. The large pillars called “Kose (‘Mile’) Minar”, erected at intervals of two miles (3 km) along the entire way between Agra and Ajmer mark the places where the royal pilgrims halted every day. It has been estimated that around 150,000 pilgrims visit the site every day.
